Cutting-Edge Dental Technology

One of the many ways we offer superior dental care to our patients is through an extensive selection of advanced technological tools and services, each with your individualized care in mind.

We've equipped our office with the latest dental technology in the industry and have incorporated comforting patient amenities everywhere possible, making your every visit a pleasantly memorable experience.

Superior Diagnostic Tools for Exceptional Care

Since the mid- to late-1800s, X-rays have been used to view the insides of the human body, helping doctors and medical researchers to diagnose and treat patients suffering from a variety of maladies.

Today, X-rays are still among the most important diagnostic tools used in a dental office, allowing the doctors to view the otherwise imperceptible inner structures of the teeth and jaw. Modern technology, however, has allowed Drs. Ryan and Janie Busk to take this integral diagnostic device one step further; with digital radiography, our team can effectively capture crystal clear X-ray images within a matter of seconds.

Because digital X-rays require no film and no development, they can be immediately viewed by both patient and doctor together on an easily accessible chairside monitor. They are considerably more environmentally friendly and the process of capturing images actually subjects the patient to up to 90 percent less radiation than traditional X-rays.

Completely digital in nature, your X-ray images can easily be stored, shared, and transferred as needed without the need for bulky folders and paper copies.

OralID Cancer Screening

Oral cancer is considered to be one of the most aggressive forms of cancer today, affecting more than 37,000 men and women in America every year. Research has shown that early diagnosis and timely treatment are the two primary keys to successful recovery in patients with oral cancer, and this process begins with routine oral cancer screening at our office.

At your general dentistry checkup every six months, we will perform a comprehensive visual exam of the entire oral cavity, including all soft tissues and the roof and floor of your mouth.

In addition to a visual assessment, we will perform oral cancer screening with the OralID cancer detection device. This revolutionary tool utilizes the power of optical fluorescence to detect cancerous and pre-cancerous cells in their earliest stages of development.

Even lesions and cell clusters that appear completely normal under ordinary light can be detected using the OralID device, making it an invaluable tool in the early diagnosis of oral cancer.
